About Silent Battles
Silent Battles is a non-profit organization established by a retired U.S. Army veteran with 28 years of service, including extensive combat experience in various conflicts throughout the world. Highly decorated for his military achievements, he holds advanced degrees: master's degrees in theology, psychology, pastoral counseling, and crisis management, as well as dual doctorates in psychology and theology. As a disabled American veteran, he pursued this education to deepen his understanding of PTSD and Moral Injury, both personally and professionally. His dedication is solely focused on providing free counseling to veterans, first responders, and their families affected by PTSD and Moral Injury. He currently offers a Group Support Network for veterans and first responders every Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pontiac Waterford Elks Lodge 810 locate at 3650 Dixie Hwy Waterford MI. Private counseling sessions may be scheduled but time and location are dependent to individual's specific needs.
